Welcome to the MBS Centre

Serving the residents of Westminster since 1979, MBS Centre is a grassroots,
community-led charity supporting local people with vital services in education, health, and social welfare. We work with diverse communities—particularly those from Bangladeshi, BAME, and refugee backgrounds—living in some of the most deprived areas in the UK.

Our mission is simple: to empower individuals and families, tackle inequality, and help build a stronger, more connected community.

Advice & Information

MBS Centre has long provided advice and information to help people make informed choices and avoid crises. We offer support with welfare, housing, debt, education, and more. In addition, we assist with filling forms, and advocacy for those facing language barriers.

MBS Activities

We support community wellbeing through physical, mental, emotional, and social activities. We also have activities such as womens exercise, swimming, health workshops, sewing, massage, drop-ins, home visits, ESOL classes, community events, and youth clubs with sports and mentoring.

Health & Wellbeing

Our health and wellbeing programmes support physical, mental, emotional, and social health in the Church Street ward. Working with partners, our health advocate and team offer workshops, resources, and guidance on healthy living, illness prevention, and self-care.
